Day 1
02:00 | Departure from Cairo
Start your overnight journey from Cairo in a private, air-conditioned vehicle as we head toward the jasmine fields of the Nile Delta.
04:30 | Jasmine Harvest in Shobra Beloula
Arrive before dawn to witness the magical moment when locals begin handpicking jasmine in the cool morning air. You’ll join the harvesters in the fields and learn how this delicate process fuels a global fragrance industry.
07:30 | Countryside Breakfast & Tea
After the harvest, we’ll be welcomed into a local family’s countryside home. Sit on the floor in traditional Egyptian fashion and enjoy a homemade breakfast: Fetter, molasses, cheese, and steaming cups of tea.
08:30 | Jasmine Factory Tour
Visit a local processing facility where freshly harvested jasmine is transformed into essential oils. Learn about the distillation process and explore a variety of natural oils available for purchase.
09:30 | Return to Cairo
We’ll head back with jasmine-scented memories and sweet souvenirs.

Things to know
Important Notes
Comfortable, dark shoes are a must – You’ll walk through open fields, so avoid wearing white or delicate footwear.
Wear long sleeves to protect yourself from mosquitoes.
Bring a hat or cap – The sun gets strong later in the morning, especially in the open fields.
This is a seasonal, early-morning trip. Expect to leave Cairo at 2:00 AM and return in the afternoon.
Please bring a refillable water bottle if you’d like to limit plastic use.
There are no modern amenities in the fields (no bathrooms or sinks during harvest time). Embrace the simplicity of the countryside!
All participants should be reasonably fit for light walking and sitting on the ground.
