One can’t visit Cairo without spending time at the iconic Great Pyramid of Giza, located on the outskirts of the city. This breathtaking piece of history is part of the Giza Necropolis and was one of the largest pyramids built in ancient Egypt. It is the oldest of the spectacular Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the only one to remain predominately intact.
