Pickup:
Your Luxor Egyptologist guide will meet you at your hotel.Â
Karnak Temple:Â
Start your tour at the Karnak Temple complex. Walk along the Avenue of Sphinxes while your guide explains the construction of the massive facade. Explore the Great Pylons, the Great Hypostyle Hall with 134 columns, the obelisks, and the sanctuary of Philip II of Macedon. Discover the Akh Menu of Tuthmosis III and the sacred lake. Enjoy free time to explore the site at your leisure.
Luxor Temple:Â
Proceed to the Luxor Temple, which was once connected to Karnak Temple by a three-kilometer long Avenue of Sphinxes. Enter the Luxor Temple through the Great Pylon, where you will see the two massive statues of King Ramses II and a pink granite obelisk. Learn about the temple's construction by King Amenhotep III and Ramses II, dating back to around 1400 BC.
