This is a moderate-paced hiking experience, suitable for most fitness levels, with no summit climb required.
Wear comfortable hiking shoes or trainers with good grip for rocky desert terrain.
Bring sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen), as shade is limited during parts of the walk.
Carry a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the hike.
During cooler months, temperatures in Saint Catherine can drop significantly, especially in the early morning and higher areas, so it is essential to bring warm layers and a good jacket.
Mobile signal may be limited in some valley areas, expect a more disconnected, peaceful nature experience.
Flashlights or headlamps are strongly recommended as your experience includes early morning or nighttime movement.
