Do you want to discover what is the mystical month of Ramadan really like? Join us in Jordan and experience it first hand! What about have an iftar with locals! With us, you'll be able to spend five hours of Ramadan interacting with a local Jordanian family and taking part in the holy month’s traditions.

You will join a local family at their Iftar (breaking the fast meal, literally meaning ‘first meal of the day’) at sunset time. There is a whole ritual that takes place every evening during the holy month of Ramadan and sitting at the Iftar table is just the opening of the evening. Traditional dishes are served, meals are made of several courses, always including something sweet at the end. Let’s just mention one of many, the amazing Qatayef that are traditionally made during Ramadan. While food is important since it follows a day of fasting, what makes the evening special is the Ramadan atmosphere within families.

After dinner, you'll be invited for a walking tour of the city to experience the vibes of Ramadan. The streets will be bustling with life as people visit each other, drinks tea in cafes and make their way to Taraweeh prayers.

Your tour will end with a a visit of precisely one of the Jordanian cafes, where you will get to smoke shisha with locals, have a bite of something sweet if you wish and, drink qamar el deen or tea in the festive atmosphere of Ramadan.
