Things to know

Kids Policy
  • This tour may not be suitable for young children, as the venue can be quite crowded during the communal iftar.
Food
  • Matariya is all about the joy of sharing food. Locals often prepare and share meals with one another, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. However, this might feel a bit overwhelming for travelers who aren't used to crowds. If we're lucky, we’ll get the chance to sample some delicious local dishes; if not, we can head to a local restaurant afterward for a proper meal where you can relax and talk about your experiences.
Walking shoes
  • Don't forget to bring comfortable walking shoes! Matariya has about 15 streets filled with plenty to see and explore.
