Our Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Valley of the Kings

itinerary--icon.png

Hidden among dry cliffs, this ancient burial ground was the final resting place for New Kingdom pharaohs. Over 60 tombs lie here, many still vibrant with scenes from the afterlife. Tomb of King Merenptah (KV8): The second-largest tomb in the valley, with long corridors and impressive reliefs from the Book of the Dead. Though partially flood-damaged, the upper walls remain in good condition. Tomb of King Ramses IV (KV2): Shorter than most but beautifully preserved. A huge goddess Nut stretches across the ceiling of the burial chamber, and the original sarcophagus is still in place. Tomb of King Ramses III (KV11): Deep and richly decorated, this tomb features complex corridors and an eight-pillared burial chamber. Its vivid wall art and preserved carvings make it one of the valley’s highlights.

Temple of Hatshepsut – Deir el-Bahari

itinerary--icon.png

This elegant temple was built into the cliffs to honor Hatshepsut, the queen who ruled as pharaoh. Designed by her steward Senenmut, its layered terraces, statues, and story-telling reliefs make it one of Egypt’s architectural masterpieces.

Colossi of Memnon

Two massive statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III greet you at the edge of the West Bank. Despite centuries of weathering, these 18-meter-high sentinels still impress with their sheer size and presence.
